Josephine dara pọ̀ mọ́ Ìpínlẹ̀ Èkó gẹ́gẹ́ bí òṣìṣẹ́ lẹ́yìn tí ó parí ìsìnrú-ìlú gẹ́gẹ́ bí agùnbánirọ̀ ní ọjọ́ kẹẹ̀dógún oṣù kejì, ọdún 1980 .[5] Lẹ́yìn tí ó ti lo ọdún márùn ún pẹ̀lú ìjọba àpapọ̀, wọ́n gbe lọ láti dara pọ̀ mọ́ ilé-iṣẹ̀ ìjọba Èkó ní ilé-iṣẹ́ tí ó ǹ pèsè ilé-ìgbé fùn àwọn ènìyàn gẹ́gẹ̀ bí Olùṣúnà́ àgbà nìbẹ̀, ṣáájú kì wọ́n tó gbe lọ sí abè ilé-iṣẹ́ ètò ìlú àti ààtò ilé ní abẹ́ (Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban) gẹ́gẹ́ bí adarì àgbà fún ẹ̀ka náà ní Ìpínlẹ̀ Èkó. [6] In June 1994, she was appointed Auditor-General and in 1995, she became the State Accountant-General.[7] Ni inu oṣu keji ọdun 2006, wọn yan an gẹgẹ bi Permanent Secretary, ni Lagos State Ministry of Finance, o wa si wa ni ipo yi titi wọn tun fi yan an gẹgẹ bi Olori oṣiṣẹ Ipinlẹ Eko ni inu oṣu kẹwa oọdun 2013 leni ti o gbapo lọwọ ọgbẹni Adesegun Olusola Ogunlewe.[8] She retired in February 2015 at the age of 60 years after 34 years of service[9].
