Deletion of newly added content[àtúnṣe àmìọ̀rọ̀]

A recent large addition and deletion of biographical content had the following activity:

As neither I nor User:Billinghurst list proficiency in Èdè Yorùbá among our User page Babel boxes, this edit and revert would benefit from review by a Yoruba user. Deborahjay (ọ̀rọ̀) 11:05, 4 Oṣù Kejìlá 2023 (UTC)[ìdáhùn]

@Deborahjay: As a global sysop reverting spam, I think that is specifically a poor call. What I am doing in this case is reverting crosswiki casino spam, and if you care to look closely then you will see it. For the remainder outside of the spam references, would you truly trust an editor with casino spam in their edit to be completely truthful and appropriate in their edit? I don't think so. @Billinghurst: - Thank you for your expert attention. Your point about possibly unreliable sourcing of content is well taken. The YOwiki certainly gets its share of crosswiki spam and the project benefits from its deletion. Cheers, Deborahjay (ọ̀rọ̀) 11:50, 5 Oṣù Kejìlá 2023 (UTC)[ìdáhùn]
@Deborahjay: This type of bot-translated spam, with sneakily inserted gambling domains, is fairly prevalent in many WP wikis, and we see it typically in sporting and gambling articles, first time I have seen it in an article such as this. For another perspective user:XXBlackburnXx also can give you a decent xwiki perspective. When the domains are reported to meta:Talk:spam blacklist we are pretty quickly blacklisting them, and the myriad of variations that they try to throw at us.
