Wọ́n bí Abíọ́dún sí ìdílé ọba ní ìlú Ijan-Èkìtì ní ìpínlẹ̀ Èkìtì. Ó parí ẹ̀kọ́ rẹ̀ ní ọdún 1963, ó sì darapọ̀ mọ́ ẹgbẹ́ eléré Mbari Mbayo èyí tí Dúró Ladipo jẹ́ aṣojú fún. Ní ọdún 1964, ó fẹ́ Dúró Ladipo.
