Parameters in bold are required.

Parameter	Description
name	Telescope's (pincipal) name.
image	Picture of the telescope (use full wikicode).
caption	Picture caption (if necessary).
alt_names	Telescope's alternative names.
nssdc_id	Telescope's NSSDC ID.
organization	Organization responsible for telescope. This parameter needs to be used for the "General information" heading to appear.
major_contractors
launch_date	Date when telescope launched.
launch_location
launch_vehicle	Launch vehicle used for telescope.
mission_length	expected duration and/or elapsed time using {{for year month day}} (e.g. (ọdún 26, osù 5, àti ọjọ́ 28 elapsed).
deorbit_date	(if known)
mass	Telescope's mass.
orbit_type	Telescope's orbit type, including any significant parameters apart from those listed below (e.g. eccentricity)
height	Telescope's orbit height.
period	Telescope's orbit period.
velocity	Telescope's orbit velocity.
accel_gravity	Telescope's acceleration due to gravity.
location	Telescope's location (e.g. L2).
style	Telescope's style (type).
wavelength	Wavelengths on which the telescope operates.
diameter	Telescope's diameter.
area	Telescope's collecting area.
focal_length	Telescope's focal length.
instrument_1_name	Name of first instrument on telescope.
instrument_1_characteristics	First instrument's characteristics.
instrument_2_name	Name of second instrument on telescope.
instrument_2_characteristics	Second instrument's characteristics.
...
instrument_12_name	Name of twelfth instrument on telescope.
instrument_12_characteristics	Twelfth instrument's characteristics.
website	The URL of the website for the telescope
as_of	Date or time-frame at which template's statistics (e.g. launch/deorbit date, orbital parameters, etc) were known to be valid. In the face of multiple dates, omitting this field in favor of the "stats_ref" field may be advisable.
stats_ref	Allows statistics to be referenced. Use standard <ref>...</ref> formatting.
