Hóró[1] jẹ́ ẹyọ aládìmú àti oníàmúṣe fún gbogbo àwọn ohun ẹlẹ́ẹ̀mì tí a mọ̀. Òhun ni ẹyọ ẹ̀mí tó kéréjùlọ tó jẹ́ tò sọ́tọ̀ bí i ohun alàyè, wọ́n sì tún ùnpé bíi òkúta ìkọ́ ẹ̀mí.[2] Àwọn ohun ẹlẹ́ẹ̀mí ṣe é tò sọ́tọ̀ bíi oníhórókan (consisting of a single cell; èyí kàkún ọ̀pọ̀ àwọn baktéríà) tàbí oníhórópúpọ̀ (èyí kàkún àwọn ọ̀gbìn àti ẹranko).
