Oyewusi Gureje, NNOM (tí a bí ní ọdún 1952) jẹ́ Dọ́kítà àwọn alárùn ọpọlọ tí Nàìjíríà ní Yunifásítì Ìbàdàn,[1] Orílẹ̀ èdè Nàìjíríà àti olùdarí World Health Organization Ọ̀gbà Ìfọwọ́kowọ́ fún ìṣàwárí àti ìdánilẹ́kọ̀ọ́ nínu ọgbà ìlera, Neurosciences,Àmúpara Ògùn àti ọtí nínú ẹ̀ka ẹ̀kọ́ náà.[2] Ó tún jẹ́ amọ̀ye tó kúná àti Ọ̀jọ̀gbọ́n ní ẹ̀ka ẹ̀kọ́ arùn ọpọlọ ní ilé-ìwé ẹ̀kọ́ gíga Psychiatry, Stellenbosch University, South Africa.[3] Ó jẹ́ ẹni mímọ̀ dájú látàrí iṣẹ́ rẹ̀ lórí epidemiology, ẹ̀ka ìṣèwòsàn oríṣiríṣi àwọn àrùn àti ìlera ọlọ́pọlọ ti àgbáyé tí ń ṣe ọ̀kan lára àwọn adarí lórí àjọ iṣèwòsàn ọlọ́pọlọ àti ètò ìdàgbàsókè ti Áfíríkà. Gureje ti ń ṣiṣẹ́ gẹ́gẹ́ bí olùkọ́-àgbà ní Yunifásítì Ìbàdàn, ó sì tún jẹ́ Olùdámọ̀ràn àwọn alárùn ọpọlọ ní Yunifásítì Kọ́lẹ́ẹ̀jì ilé-ìwòsàn láti ọdún 1989. Ó jẹ́ olórí ẹ̀ka ẹ̀kọ́ ti ìṣèwòsàn àrùn ọpọlọ ní ilé ẹ̀kọ́ gíga méjèèjì láti ọdún 1999 – 2003 àti 2007 -2011.[5] Ní ọdún 2010, Ó ṣàgbéjáde the Mental Health Leadership and Advocacy Programme (mhLAP) ní ilé ẹ̀kọ́ gíga náà.[6]
